About Me

I spend most of my time in my kitchen.  It is the place where I create GAPS™ foods and stay in touch with clients.  Something is always cooking, soaking or fermenting!

As a Certified GAPS™ Practitioner and Advanced Holistic Nurse with 33 years of professional experience, I offer a unique and well-informed perspective on your health concerns.  One thing that makes me unique is that I have chosen to focus entirely on GAPS.  I have used many strategies in the past to help clients recover their health but, since I learned about GAPS™, my focus is on addressing gut dysbiosis.

I live on a beautiful farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  I’ve lived in this part of the world all my life and am nourished by the soft, feminine Blue Ridge Mountains nearby.  My husband and I grow much of our food in our large vegetable garden, get eggs from our backyard chicken flock and have a source of raw milk in our county.
